MAURO PASTORE

General Manager of Iccrea Banca

Mauro Pastore, born in Rome in 1965, is the General Manager of Iccrea Banca, parent company of the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group.

Before joining the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group, he worked at Arthur Andersen from 1990 to 1992 and later collaborated with Studio Palandri in Rome. He has been a statutory auditor of several companies: Mix Oil S.p.a., Beni stabili Gestioni S.p.a., Bowe Sistec S.p.a., Iside S.p.a. (an IT company of Credito Cooperativo, now BCC Sistemi Informatici, of which he is currently chairman), BCC Vita S.p.a. and Banca Sviluppo S.p.a. Chairman of Boards of Statutory Auditors in various companies, including Tor Immobiliare Due S.r.l. and BCC WEB S.p.a. and Director in Assimoco Assicurazioni S.p.a., Assimoco Vita S.p.a., FinAssimoco S.p.a., Chiara Assicurazioni S.p.a. and A.Ge.Cooper Roma S.r.l., as well as Deputy Chairman of BCC Vita S.p.a. and BCC Assicurazioni S.p.a. and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Assistem S.p.a.

From 2001 to 2004 he served as General Manager of the Federation of Cooperative Credit Banks of Lazio, Umbria and Sardinia. In October 2004 he joined BCC of Rome as Deputy General Manager, where he became General Manager in December 2010, holding this role until June 2019 when he joined the Iccrea Group.

In June 2019, he was appointed General Manager of Iccrea Banca.

Among other positions, from 1991 to 2002 he taught Business Economics as an expert in the subject at the school of Economics and Business at the Third University of Rome, and authored several publications on banking, credit and economic issues.

From 2002 to 2015 he also served as General Manager of Federlus Factoring S.p.a. From November 2015 to March 2018 Pastore was a member of the expert advisory board of the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Chamber of Deputies for the Banking and Insurance sector. He was President of the Finance Section of Unindustria, the association of Industrialists in Lazio.

He is currently a member of the Management Committee of the Temporary Fund of Cooperative Credit Banks and a member of the Board of Directors of ABI. Since December 2018 he has been a member of the Steering Committee of the Faculty of Economics of Guglielmo Marconi University.

He graduated with honours in Economics from the Sapienza University of Rome, is a Chartered Accountant and is registered with the Register of Statutory Auditors.

 

FRANCESCO ROMITO

Deputy General Manager - Chief Financial Officer of Iccrea Banca

Francesco Romito, born in Palermo in 1970, is Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Iccrea Banca, parent company of the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group.

At Iccrea Banca, he was responsible for the Internal Auditing Function (Chief Audit Executive) from July 2018 to October 2019. At the end of 2019 he was appointed Head of the BCC POC, Institutional Relations and Legal Area, ensuring fundamental support to the BCC system and the Banking Group on corporate governance issues. In January 2020 he was appointed Deputy General Manager of Iccrea Banca, and a few months later Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Iccrea Banca, with responsibilities also in GBCI strategic planning.

Before joining the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group, he was a partner in a company of an international network of auditing and strategic consultancy in the banking and financial sector and had experience in the institutional environment in the banking and financial sector. It was an experience that provided solid knowledge of finance, accounting, prudential regulation and the management of extraordinary transactions.

In the past he worked with the Faculties of Economics of the Roma Tre and Luiss universities. He currently teaches Economics and Law of Mutual Banks (Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance) at the Catholic University.

He has a degree in Economics and Commerce from the Luiss University in Rome and is a registered statutory auditor.

PIETRO GALBIATI

Deputy General Manager and Head of Iccrea Banca’s Lending Business and Associate Companies Area

Pietro Galbiati, born in Monza in 1961, is Deputy General Manager and Head of the Lending Business and Associate Companies Area at Iccrea Banca, parent company of the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group.

At Iccrea Banca he was Head of Local Agency Coordination from July 2018 to December 2019.

Before joining the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group, he worked from September 1978 to August 1999 in a firm of accountants, first as an employee and then as a partner. From 1993 to 1999, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the BCC of Carugate. In September 1999 he became Deputy General Manager of the BCC of Carugate, then Joint General Manager, and later General Manager from January 2005 to August 2009.
In September 2009 he was called by the Lombard Federation of Cooperative Credit Banks to take on the role of Deputy General Manager. He later became General Manager in February 2011 until 2018, when he joined the Iccrea Group.

He is currently Vice President of Sinergia Scarl and BCC Servizi Informatici SpA.
He is a director in the Group's subsidiaries BCC Servizi Assicurativi Srl, BCC Gestione Crediti SpA, and in the investee companies Bancomat SpA, Numia Group SpA and Pitagora SpA.

He is registered in the Register of Statutory Auditors and in the Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Monza and Brianza.​​
